Great Machine with No Problems

This machine is just shy of being commercial kitchen grade. We bought it reconditioned. It has worked flawlessly. We use it extensively for baking, grating cheese, making coleslaw, grinding meat and making sausage. We did add some small, self-adhesive, furniture sliders to the bottom which make it very easy to move across the counter top. We are very pleased with this purchase.

7 qt Pro Line mixer

Bought a refurb. Tested it with firm bread dough (1.7 kg pan ordinaire), gluey bread dough (1.2 kg pane francesco), meringue and whipped cream. So far, this is a fantastic mixer. My only concern is complete incorporation of the bread dough requires starting with the paddle and switching to the dough hook. Very strong mixer and doesn't heat up. I think it's better than the electrolux.

Couldn't be Happier!

I wanted to use the Refurbished 7 QT a few times before reviewing! The mixing power of the KitchenAid makes a positive difference with recipe results! The cake batters mix fluffier and smoother. I'm a full speed ahead type person and, in the past, I had a hard time avoiding the flour and powdered sugar bombs (and other recipe splatters) which always frustrated me because I had to wipe down everything in the vicinity. The KitchenAid large capacity bowl and the Pouring Shield are my reinforcements now! Even though the bowl is large, small recipes can be used and mix just fine. KitchenAid also offers a 3 QT bowl and Combi-Whip that fits the 7 QT Bowl Lift Stand. The steep price reduction of the refurbished mixer allowed me to get the mixer I wanted, versus settling for a smaller mixer because of price. Additionally, the customer service has been tremendous. Besides answering all of my questions, and freely replacing items, discounts are customarily offered when calling KitchenAid directly. It is with great pride, and use experience, I recommend KitchenAid products.

Bought for myself and love it! Capacity is awesome and powerful. Refurb is a great way to afford this wonderful machine. The only thing that would have made this sale the best would be INCLUDING the pour shield in package!
