I didn't want the heavy weight and size of the larger mixers, so I turned to the 3.5 quart. The size and weight makes it easy to move, so there's no hesitation to use it. I was concerned the 3.5 qt size might be too small, but it has not been a problem. I've made a two-layer cake, a large bundt cake, and two loaves of bread, and the bowl size was fine. There was a little machine movement when kneading the heavy bread dough (enough for the two loaves), but nothing major, and there was room to spare in the bowl. I've used a hand mixer until now, and I really appreciate not having to handhold the mixer anymore - convenient, easier, and time-saving.

Lighter Mixer
