This mixer is amazing! I use it for so many things that it has its own special place on the counter...it doesn't get 'put away'. I use it to make mashed potatoes, cookie dough, ice cream (with the attachment), pasta dough, and bread dough. The pasta dough cutter and roller set is on my Santa list this year!

I bought this mixer this summer. I am still learning how to use it. I probably will never use the dough hook. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is pretty heavy. It makes wonderful angel food cakes! The main beater does get most of the batter so I do not have to use the rubber scraper very much. I have never seen a beater that moves around like that. I wish there was a smaller bowl too. When I made frosting I did not want to use the big bowl.

My new mixer has so many options. I bought all the attachments except the grinder. Everything is super high quality. I love love love the spiralizer in particular. It works well and virtually nothing is wasted ! It is a beautiful appliance. Can't wait to make my avocado sorbet recipe.

Beautiful, easy to use and clean. I do notice it working hard and slowing down to mix dough, as well as the whole machine moving around. I think the only way to fix this is to make it even heavier which people may not want. Happy to have it!

Who doesn't love the KitchenAid mixer?

Was worried it wouldn't measure up to the old ones. I had an older model for years and years. Received this one as a replacement gift. The old one still worked really well and was hard to give up. But this new one is every bit and good. And it's shiny and doesn't rock when I overload the bowl. (My old one was a handme down that's at least 40 years old now and still works.) I am delighted.

Second Kitchen Aid

I needed a new mixer. My old Kitchen Aid was over 20 year old and I loved it. Of course, I got another Kitchen Aid, and I have been very disappointed with it. The speeds are not right on it. The slowest speed is way too fast and slings flour all over my kitchen. Also, the mixing blade does not feel like it fits in place correctly. Overall, not anywhere near as satisfied as I was with my first one.

Very Good Mixer

Love it except for the California Warning about known cancer causing chemicals, I find it hard to recommend to a friend. I had already bought and even returned the mixer for new one due to some metal shavings. The customer service was so superior that I still use the new replacement product, but with much caution due to aforementioned and that hesitancy makes it not as pleasant an experience. Would be superior if you could eliminate the cancer warning materials used in production.

A little disappointed...

I got my second mixer a few months ago and I kinda wish I never replaced the first one I had (which worked just fine for 10 years) which I loved , that's why I chose another Kitchen Aid. The new mixer (same model) makes much more noise than my first and I feel like the arm doesn't fuller lock so the arm seems to bounce abit (making it sound louder when mixing). If I had known, I would never have purchased a new mixer just to get a different colour :(

I bought this to replace an old factory refurbished one I bought 20 years ago that gave out during the Christmas baking season.
