Got this as a wedding shower gift. Used it once no issues. Used it today to prep my Thanksgiving feast. Hoping it would cut my chopping time into almost nothing, and it didn't work. Checked to see if we were getting power to the outlet and that was working. Now I have to manually cut every since carrot, celery and other ingredients.

Works Better Than I've Ever Experienced!

I bought this food processor after owning a Ninja brand food processor. This food processor is incredible and works just as good, if not better than I hoped for! Specifically, I made a recipe where I had to process/blend garbanzo beans, sweet potatoes, and multiple other ingredients/spices. All my ingredients fit into the 7 cup food processor. This food processor blended all my ingredients perfectly in about 2 minutes. I never had to hand mix or adjust my ingredients in order to make them blend together, as I had to do when using my previous food processor. I am eager to continue my success with this appliance in the kitchen! Also, we chose this Kitchen Aid brand appliance over other brands because we have had excellent customer service with our other Kitchen Aid appliances.

I own a much larger food processor so the size of the kitchen aid is perfect for leaving the machine on the counter for smaller jobs. While it does a great job chopping and grating, the way the lid is attached makes the insert fall out every time it is opened. And the 2 peice chopping blade (which does not lock into place) means you have to rememeber to remove the blade before dumping out the contents pf the bowl or risk losing a finger. I would recommend the processor but I think the top and blade design needs some tweaking

So far I've been very pleased with my food processor. I did have an issue with the original one I purchased but Kitchen was very good to work with in getting a replacement. The rep was courteous and the service was fast. I like how the attachments are kept in the mixing bowl. The cleanup is easy as well. I would recommend this product.
